So Christmas Celebrations are over and i can heave a sigh of relieve, its been pretty hectic the past few days getting ready and also going to quite a few gatherings. But i had lots of fun though.
Saturday
Had to help out at a wedding in the morning following which i proceeded across the road to help out with the settting up of the equipment for the "Christmas at Toa Payoh" celebration. Learnt quite abit from the pro's. It finished at 9 so i only got home at like 10 and i was exhausted from standing the whole day.
Sunday
I was so exhausted that i overslept church, I woke up at like 11 plus. Anyway started getting ready for the "House dedication/Christmas Celebration" at my home. Had to clean and help prepare to make sure everything was in tip top condition. At 630 the guest started arriving so had to start entertaining them. Everyone started leaving by 10 plus and by 11 almost everyone left. And then my cousin & cousin in law( or do i still refer to him as cousin?) dropped by to have a look at the newly renovated house. Babysat my 3 and a half year old nephew. He's was so hyper even at 1230. BUT so adoreable =) too bad no pics
Monday
Woke up to 9 to get ready to go to church for service, After service Wished my people Merry Christmas and got cards and gifts. Unfortuantly didn't do cards cause i was too busy and I want to specially thank Pastor Raymond for his Cd. After which went home for lunch which was pretty much balance food. Played like a few quick games of dota then had to go for Tea at my Aunts place. After that went to Pastor Raymond's place for Christmas dinner where i met alot of Cairnhill Methodist people and i must mention this the National Fencer Ruth that played in the recent Asian Games. HAHA
Yup pretty much after that went home to crash cause i was so exhausted and here i am after waking up this morning Going to buy some stuff for party tomorrow later. SEE HOW BUSY I AM?!
Oh and to you. I meant what i said even if it didn't mean anything to you.

I just finished watching the drama One Litre of Tears and i must admit it really struck a nerve deep down in me. If someone who suffers from Cerebellar/Spinocerebellar Degeneration which will cause the brain to gradually deteriorate and eventually, leave one be bed-bound and unable to do almost anything, can make a difference to many people what more myself who is able bodied and in full health.
God works in mysterious ways.. The drama was really an eye opener to me and i recommend all who are able to to watch it.

Well as i type this entry there's a torrential downpour ouside. And well i'm not going to eleborate but it has kind of been going on for the last 2 WHOLE DAYS. Not that i'm against the refreshing showers but too much rain really spoils the mood for anything and its such a bother to leave my house. However i do tend to Reminiscence whenever the weather gets this bad and i realised that i really miss the good old school days. I mean waking up early and all was really a chore but the friends and all made it so worth it. These days a sense of dreariness tends to come over me and i find myself wanted to have done so much more when i had the chance. I guess its true that u will only treasure something after you lose it.
Anyways i have a trackers interview on thursday so keep me in your prayers. =)
Note to self : And they say Ignore-rance is bliss

For those who are wondering where i have disappeared to. Fret not, i'm still alive. Fine i'm in Shanghai China to be exact. The weather here is like quite totally different from back home cause its winter anf the temperature can like drop to 5 degree's,its actually not that cold but when the wind blows... UlTIMATE Chill to the uncovered parts like the face.Anyway i'm staying at my Aunts place so its very comfortable indoors thanks to the central heating system. Shoppings not entirely too great cause its kinda like winter and like i'm not not going back to our sunny little island with like tons of warm stuff to melt in. Pictures when i get back home at the end of the week only though. Tag if u miss me. lol =D

Somehow i'm tired but yet i can't seem to sleep. I'm guessing its the few issues i have bugging me that i've not been able to fully put down yet. I mean like honestly i have entrusted them to God but not that i don't have faith but i just keep thinking of a certain issue.Sigh.. Keep me in your prayers.
I NEED CLOSURE.

So. I'm back from the Youth Leaders Planning retreat and this being my first was really an eye opener for me. Found the discussions rather useful to brainstorm certain issues with regards to the different ministries and plan ahead for the year 2007. The Salvation Army 'camp site' i must say is really good though, Hostel like rooms and quiet too. Not to mention clean too. So if u're looking for a campsite why not try this one.
Oh and here's a little picture of what we had for supper last night. Don't start drooling. =P

The Past few days have passed like with a blink of an eye. Proms over and the day after Prom is also over. Prom was Great. Unfortuantely not the actual programme but the small bonding and phototaking times. Sorry if any of you Prefects in the organising committee read this but honestly its Prom. Having a programme where you require everyone to do as you say is not exactly how we like it. Should have factored in free and easy time. I don't speak for everyone but i'm sure most would agree anyway. And since i'm on this may i just say the food wasn't really mouth watering, and the ambience well, not the best i've seen
*Note to self. Settle for a less glam hotel as long as we can get the Grand Ballroom.Thats where its much better.
I'm not criticizing you all for doing a bad job but just lessons can be learnt. Appreciate the planning that went into trying so hard to make the event a success. I'm grateful nevertheless. You guys deserse a pat on the back. =)
Photo's another time tho. I'm beat.
