The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil;my cup overflows.Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.- Psalm 23

So i woke up this morning thinking it would be another ordinary day. Having signed up to go for the EU talk thinking i would get seal points, i attended.

1 referral and 1 short chat later, i became part of what everyone calls the GCC or Global Connect Club. No messy forms, no tiring interviews and most of all, no discrimination. Had i known, i would have joined the first time they approached me. So YES everyone. As of now yours truly officially has a CCA. =)

I want to run for Main Com. LOL.

So as part of my job scope as the newly elected/arrowed treasurer of TB08, i tabulated the receipts of the notes printed for the entire of semester 2.

Came up to a whooping figure of $410.60 and say we use a rate of 5 cents per page, that means in essence, we had 8212 pages of notes printed.

I'm appalled. Tp should go paperless to save the environment. I support Sustainable Development. =)

I learned a new word on Wednesday during what was supposedly Comm's skills. Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't the name speak for itself? COMMUNICATION SKILLS as opposed to what we have to learn this semester being research skills.

So being an excellent student i am, i shall put what i learned into practice. Comm skills to me personally as of now is
Floccinaucinihilipilification. No prizes to who can pronounce it though.

Other that that i think the rest of my subjects are relevant although challenging for example my all time favourite of Organic Chemistry.

Oh Such Joy to be back in school and did i mention Fundamentals of Pathology is all E learning therefore i learnt the importance of a WIKI which by the way is all good except the part whereby when someone updates it Spams my mailbox.

Imagine the horror.

I now have a strong distaste for E learning.

I'm dejected because my plans to sleep in tomorrow were quashed thanks to the lecturer moving the lesson forward which now leaves me with 5 hour break in between to the next lesson.

Nevertheless,it didn't spoil my mood entirely considering a had a intriguing day meeting both of the psychology lecturers. Both of which have marvellous characters or in other words queer personalties. Why i chose psych on the other hand is a totally different matter but it seems i'm following a good pattern of first Sociology then GC then Psych.

Maybe i should have gone to Humanities school in the first place. HA

Anyways, as i was tying this entry, i got a message to say the lecturer made a mistake so WELL AND GOOD. I'm pleased. =)

So to end off, Here's another segment of the Gc Trip. Click Here

Point 1: So besides the excellent timetable, my subjects for this semester are art. Art because anything you don't understand is art and needless to say, i don't understand them. At least for 2 out of 3 subjects for now.

Point 2: Somehow or rather, Tp seems to have grown exponentially with a sudden new intake of new students. What was the seeming peaceful campus was shattered today by the mass number of students that could be found EVERYWHERE, even on the concourse. I mean, shouldn't the intake match the gradating students at least considering we have a tiny campus that is already near full capacity. Take for example 3 schools having to share the same building.

On a normal context, there would be nothing wrong with the above but know me well enough and you'll know how i react to crowds. Which to put simply is not good.

Lord I need a place of solace. Or a hug. =S

So i haven't been updating in like forever because I've been busy.

Reasons being:
1. For a guy who works part time, I've had work almost everyday this week
2. I still have like a more then a few hundred photos to process.
3. Admist all the above, I've had to do up a Trip report for GC.

Anyway, a thought since my holidays were coming to an end, I'll pen down my productiveness during this vacation. For starters, I managed to clear 1 CDS by taking what i now like to refer to as 'the best educational trip I've been on' or in others words Global Citizenship which i must say has and still is the most meaningful and enjoyable time one could ask for, not so much the subject but for the friendships made and the Lecturers found. Next i worked as usual and managed to increase my overall net value. Then there was the small little assistance i provided for the Yf Roster, most credit going to Ruth of course. Finally, the most befitting of all, I finished up quite a few American dramas. CSI all 3 of them, House, 24, Alias just to name a few

So. School starts next week and I'm thrilled because I'm no longer a FRESHIE. Not that its a bad thing but it helps me to try find something i can look forward to besides all the chores of an academic life.

And of Course, there's You.

PS. I just looked at my timetable and 1 one word says it all. WOOOT =)
