I have by far outdid myself once more.

Imagining waking up at 7am so that you can go to church to attend service after which you're whisked across the causeway for a whole day of golf.

Sounds pretty fine except the part where by i left out about having only 2 hours of sleep the night before and needing to play my part as a driver for certain legs of the journey to and in a country far far away.

Joshua, you never learn do you?
Its thankful you have a God who sustained you through without incident. =)

Reasons why today was a fabulous day,

1. Church service was at 5 Pm which meant i got to sleep in till like 11?
2. I had to go down earlier to help set up for the reception which turned out to be a blessing in disguise since for starters, there was food, but more importantly the main speakers in the sanctuary decided to go on strike and thus we needed all hands on deck to help set up an alternative. ( And for that matter, the new array sounded better that the original. HA.)
3. My mum managed to get my relatives to attend service. In which case is a significant milestone.
4. Seeing as to how my relatives came to church my mum decided to invite them over for dinner and as such i had a sumptuous meal. =)

Wanted to blog yesterday but sheer exhaustion and a day emulating Daniel Powter's song- Bad day was enough to knock me off my toes. In this case maybe literally.

First, i got got on wrong trains twice on the route home after picking up my laptop.
Then, after an all familiar route to drop someone in a town called Sengkang. I got lost again trying to get home.

To add to all the irony, on getting home, i kicked the fan while walking thus opening up a gashing wound at my small toe. Read: Pain and bloody.

Of course all's not lost. When a conversation like this happens
Mum: tomorrow i got an video interview with MOE.
Me and my sis: For what??
Mum: Dono them, they said want to use me as an example in a textbook. What Social studies..
Me and Sis: (after the initial shock) Right. *laughs nonsensically*

Me thinks i honestly picked the wrong week to send my laptop in.

1. My best friend decided to call me one morning and tell me He quit school.
2. Planning for my coming OCP is in full scale and i'm rather disabled without my email system.
3. I had to finish up planning TECH rosters for next quarterly. Doing an excel spreadsheet on an EEE is no joke i tell you.
4. I need a gaming fix badly to escape from reality for a while.
5. From the initial 3 working days to fix the small fault, they discovered another major problem which meant an increase in time required to fix the underlying issue.


Believe it or not thanks to the above as well, i have visited town like 4 times in the last week. The horror!!

But every cloud has its sliver lining and I've spent near everyday out with the above mentioned friend since he sent his laptop in as well. HA. =)

I haven't been updating because frankly i have nothing to say.

I've come to realize that i used to need a blog as an outlet to say my piece but ever since the holidays started I've been meeting deh so often and each time we meet we can speak our minds so openly without any fears that I'm left with only comforting epiphanies.

It feels different really to have someone you can confide in and i thank the Lord for that.

On a different note, with the moon cake festival (if that's what its called) coming to an end, I realize now that i have added moon cakes to my list of favorite food. =) Its not much of a surprise really anyway considering I've had like moon cakes from Crystal Jade, Peach Garden and Ritz Carlton to name a few.

Yes, the high sugar and clogged up arteries aside, they make really delectable snacks.

You only live life once right? ;p

Blast from the past. =)

Finally met deh and the rest after like eons and glad to say, things haven't changed. much, with the new addition of panda.

Now, I've always wondered what came after my best friend the dictionary and today i say, its this, the street directory. Believe it or not, i think my friends are nuts about directions read: Guys and they don't exactly have a good sense of direction. Me personally finds it helpful to read the directory first especially if your going somewhere in the*coughwestcough* rather then trust instinct.

Cause there's a point to this and it revolves around getting to thomson for a certain reason.

Note to self: Driving on 2 hours of sleep can be done with strong mints but i rather hope i never have to again. Unless the pro's outweigh the cons that is.

Oh, time spent with Deh's are so much more meaningful then most enjoyable activities, even if they keep introducing you to addictive games that seriously are entertaining. =)
